PROJECTS and INITIATIVES
PROJECT 1

Delivering Feel S.A.F.E. Backpacks to domestic violence and homeless shelters is the mainstay of the work we do. Depending on the season, whether it's Back to School time or the Holidays, the supplies we provide in the backpacks varies.
PROJECT 2

​
"Feel S.A.F.E. In Our Neighborhoods" is a new project that allows volunteers to help teach kids how to play outside with other kids and feel safe in their neighborhoods. It's also a great opportunity to teach the younger generation all the "old school" outdoor games like "Red Rover Red Rover" and build friendships.
PROJECT 3

​Our Annual Feel S.A.F.E. Luau is our opportunity to teach kids how to feel safe swimming in pools and playing near water. Many of us who have worked as lifeguards have personally witnessed how easy it is for kids to nearly drown. This great summer event is one that we hope to continue for many years!
PROJECT 4

​Feel S.A.F.E. Buddies is our project to serve students with special and unique needs and make sure they have a soft friend when they might feel scared or overwhelmed at school.
PROJECT 5

Our "Feel Lucky" Fundraiser is one of the ways we raise money and donations for our backpacks and stuffed animals. We love the fun and traditions of St. Patrick's Day and raffle off many gift baskets and green prizes...And of course a delicious corned beef and potatoes dinner is served for everyone!

Our Fall Picnic in the Park is our opportunity to thank our volunteers who help us during the year with our various projects. Our Feel S.A.F.E. family continues to grow each year as we all work hard to make sure every child feels safe!
